Have you any idea how difficult it is to find a good model for Gambit? Impossible, I tell you, damned impossible!. Aaaarrrrrggggh!! I add. :-(

So, yeah, the current icon is my Gambit. I'm not entirely sold on him. For Gambit you really need a combination of very, very pretty, great hair, cheekiness but also a bit of depth and danger going on. If anyone comes across any good Gambit pic fodder, give me a shout and I shall be grateful.

So despite writing a 2,000+ word fic in just a few hours yesterday, I'm still avoiding the h/c epic. I think I might need h/c avoidance therapy. ;-)

I wish I could say the problem was just with the new characters I'm writing but it's not. Bruce and Clark just aren't helping me with this at all. Bruce gets into the hurt, Clark gets into the comfort and neither of them want much to do with the other so I'm left see-sawing sickeningly between soppy and dark with no compromise in sight. I'm seriously considering just canabalising the thing and doing something else. But then I haven't actually looked at it since last weekend and I was enjoying playing with it then.

Bugger. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and look at it.

Noooooooo! Don't make me!! Pleeeeeaaaaassse -- I'll write more super-hickey fic instead, yes?
